Ted Case - Systems Architect & Founder
Ted is an independent researcher and systems architect focused on building AI that behaves with clarity, memory, and restraint.
He founded Plasticity-AI to explore a different kind of intelligence — one that prioritizes reliability and presence. His first project, Evelyn, is a real-time, voice-native assistant built entirely on local hardware, with no cloud dependencies and a fully recoverable fallback system.
Developed from scratch using open-source tools, Whisper, and custom Python modules, Evelyn reflects a hands-on approach to AI — designed, tested, and refined with precision.
Outside of his work, Ted finds balance in the outdoors, whether at the beach or working with animals — a natural counterweight to the complexity of building high-context systems.
